This site is an independent editorial resource that reviews the broker HFM for readers in the United Arab Emirates. It is not the broker, it is not affiliated with the broker, and it does not provide financial services, accounts, deposits or advice. Because we ask readers to trust our reviews, we take on the obligation to handle any personal data that reaches us with care, to limit what we collect, and to explain the legal basis for each kind of processing.
We process personal data only where the law gives us a lawful basis. When you send us a message through the contact form on this site, we process the details you choose to provide on the basis of your consent and, where the message relates to a request you have made, on the basis of taking steps at your request before any agreement. When we measure how the site is used, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding whether our editorial content is useful, balanced against your rights and expectations. Where we are required to keep records for legal reasons, we rely on compliance with a legal obligation. We do not process personal data for any purpose that is incompatible with the purpose for which it was collected.
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as the law requires us to keep it. When that period ends, we delete the data or make it anonymous so that it no longer identifies you.
Sharing, and who never receives it
We share personal data only to the extent needed to run this site and to answer readers. That means service providers who host the site, who maintain its technical operation, or who help us measure traffic, and who act on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations. It also means professional advisers where necessary, and public authorities where the law requires us to respond to a lawful request. We share the minimum amount of data that is needed for each of those purposes, and we do not allow anyone who receives data from us to use it for their own marketing.
We never sell personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or pass it to the broker HFM or to any other broker, platform or partner for their own purposes. We do not share personal data with advertisers so that they can build profiles of readers of this site. If the site is ever reorganised, merged or transferred, personal data may form part of what is transferred, but only on the same terms as this policy and only where the recipient continues to respect your rights.
Some service providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where that happens, we take the steps the law requires to ensure the data continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, and we do not transfer data to a recipient that cannot meet those standards.
Your rights and how to use them
You have the right to know whether we hold personal data about you and to receive a copy of it. You have the right to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased where there is no good reason for us to keep it, and to have our processing restricted while a concern is looked into. You have the right to object to processing that we base on our legitimate interest, and you have the right to receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used form. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, write to us through the contact form on this site and describe what you would like us to do. We do not require you to use any particular wording. We will respond within the time the law allows, and if we need more information to identify you, we will ask for it and use it only for that purpose. If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you may complain to the competent data protection authority in the United Arab Emirates, and you may also raise the matter with us first so that we can try to put it right.
Children, analytics and measurement
This site is written for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of eighteen. If you are under eighteen, please do not send us personal data through the contact form or otherwise. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided data to this site, please tell us through the contact form on this site so that we can act.
We use analytics to measure how readers use the site: which pages are opened, how long a visit lasts, and which links are followed. We use that measurement in an aggregated form, to understand whether our editorial work is useful and to improve the site. Aggregated measurement does not identify you, and we do not use it to make decisions about individual readers. Where analytics involves personal data, we limit what is collected, we do not combine it with data from other sources to profile you, and we rely on the lawful basis described above.
We may update this policy when the way we handle data changes. The current version is always the one published on this site, and it applies from the moment it is published.
